Positive Outcomes in Tameside

Posted by Social Enterprise on April 20, 2016

We have achieved many positive outcomes in Tameside Positive Outcomes in Tamesidethrough our broad range of exciting training opportunities and are continuing to help improve the lives of our participants.  Some of the activities we engage in include:

  • Employability Skills Training
  • Accredited Peer Mentoring
  • Accredited Tenancy Management
  • ICT and online Tenancy training
  • Bespoke 1 to 1 training sessions
  • Creative art sessions, and
  • Pre-employment training with subjects like communication & problem solving
  •
Such pursuits have often led to a number of positive outcomes in Tameside.  For example, a lot of our learners benefit from improved confidence and wellbeing, both of which motivate them to gain employment and lead independent lives.  This is the main purpose of the Tameside employability course, so we celebrate each time something like this is achieved – no matter how often it happens!

Though the Matt25 Employability Course has been running for some time, it has received a new lease of life – almost a complete re-design – since it has been managed from Tameside.  A key initiative of Adullam Social Enterprises, it is a valuable asset to participating residents in Adullam Homes.

The support we receive from patrons and those who just take an interest allows us to continue this vital work, meaning we make improvements to the lives of many people, all of whom benefit from:

    • Improved skills, knowledge and confidence, and
    • A closer working relationship with other service providers in the wider Tameside area
