By empowering individuals to lead independent lives, the Five Steps to Wellbeing courses is the mental health equivalent of the 'five a day' fruit and vegetable guidance given by the majority of health professionals.

Based on the NHS programme that was developed in association with:

Our Five Steps to Wellbeing course will help you and/or your organisation take a pro-active stance towards the health and wellbeing of clients or service users, whilst also ensuring that your staff are equipped with the tools that are needed for an effective work-life balance.

Why Choose This Course

In order to ensure the learner obtains it full benefits, this course is split into two half day sessions:

  • Session One - Five Steps Theory Training

  • Session 2 - A Practical Workshop

Once the course has been completed, learners will benefit from:

  • A workbook based toolkit, and

  • A six month support service during which your trainer can be contacted for ongoing support - free of charge

Learning Outcomes

Through this course, delegates will:

~ Be able to provide Improved Wellbeing for any person/s they may support

~ Learn processes to help reduce their own stress and anxiety levels in order to improve physical health and social skills

~ Be more comfortable detecting symptoms in others and identifying courses of action

~ Learn the Five Steps and how these apply to the Wellbeing of clients or service users under their care or supervision

~ Gain practical steps to help empower people to the Wellbeing of clients or service users under their care or supervision

~ Gain practical steps to help empower people to take ownership of their own Health and Wellbeing

~ Learn how to deliver positive Mental Wellbeing techniques, creating positive change for them

Cost: £550 per course 

excluding VAT

Price is based on a group of 12 Students, with a £55.00 charge for each additional student.  The maximum number of delegates is venue dependent.
