Our Mission is to create social outcomes. The community projects we deliver, are all funded from the surplus that is generated through our C.I.C business model. Due to an increase in demand, and limited resources, we are reaching out to local communities, partners, and funders for support and donations, which will enable us to deliver more services to those who need it most

Social Value

At ASE, we don’t just talk about caring for the community, we do it. We live up to our Corporate Social Responsibility by integrating social and environmental concerns through the delivery of our social value initiatives we support and fund.

Employability

Our Employability programme offers tailored support and skill development. We deliver training in the community, supporting individuals to reach their full potential.

Volunteering

We know it can be hard to find the time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering can be enormous. As a not-for-profit organisation we work with people in need. Volunteering with us, will directly benefit the people we work with and support us in achieving our mission.

Sharon Ames

Head of Social Enterprises

I have worked in the Supported Housing and Care Sector for over 20 years.

I have managed a number of Supported Housing Schemes and have an excellent understanding of the barriers that our clients face on a day to day basis, which is why we provide the services we do.

My initial focus was developing staffing and training solutions, which has since developed and expanded into developing community projects, in support of developing sustainable communities.

Poonam Purewal

National Volunteer Co-ordinator

I come from a background of studying Sociology and Human Resources, and have always had a passion for working with people and supporting others even from a young age through my local community.

I enjoy working with people from a variety of different backgrounds and have always worked for charities, empowering individuals and helping them along their journey to thrive and live independent lives.

Most recently I supported approximately 200 individuals by providing them with access to learning English, training courses, volunteering opportunities and many into paid employment. Along this journey I would work regularly on a one to one basis with individuals, supporting them with any barriers to accessing the aforementioned support but also building confidence and providing a safe space.

I have recently joined Adullam as the National Volunteer Coordinator and I am looking forward to raising awareness of the importance of volunteering both externally and within Adullam!
