Adullam Social Enterprises

“We help people who need help. For a lot of people, life can become a real struggle. Our mission is to make life better for those who need it most. We use the money we make though our Recruitment and Training enterprise to help people. We provide creative ways to help people help themselves. Through education, or wellbeing activities, we empower people to cope better, as well as support them in gaining new skills or employment to thrive beyond their expectations.”

Adullam Social Enterprises (ASE) is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company Limited by guarantee.

We use our profits from trading to enable us to respond to the needs of people and communities, by providing essential support services across the communities that we operate within. Our focus is in supporting to building stronger and more resilient communities, supporting sustainability in order to improve people’s lives.

We achieve this through the activities we provide, specifically targeting the most vulnerable in society, people living in areas of deprivation, and people who are facing a multitude of barriers and hardship, which include both Adults and Young Persons. Issues range from homelessness, complex needs, mental health, inequalities, substance dependence and recovery, people fleeing domestic violence, and people facing financial difficulties.

Principle Activities:

The principal activity of Adullam Social Enterprises is to trade goods and services across a number of regions, in order to fund and deliver social value activities that create positive outcomes for people and our environment.

  • Our Mission is to create positive social outcomes for vulnerable and disadvantaged communities. The community projects we deliver, are all funded from the surplus that is generated through our C.I.C business model together with all grants, donations and other income we receive to enable us to meet our mission.
  • Our Vision is to facilitate, enable and support positive changes across communities, benefiting both People and Planet.
  • We Value Innovation, Passion, Creativity and Motivation.

Delivering social value in line with our mission remains challenging due to limited surplus generated from trading and the ever-increasing demand for our community support services. The ongoing cost-of-living crisis, further exacerbated by world events over the last year, continues to increase challenges and barriers already faced by our vulnerable and disadvantaged communities. Our business clients and partners have continued to support us through these challenging times, by continuing to purchase our services which enables us to deliver these key services. In addition to our business partners support, we actively fundraise, access grant opportunities, and seek out donors which support the ongoing delivery across communities in need, in order to meet the increasing demand.

Over the past 12 months we have directly engaged with over 300 clients across a number of regions, and indirectly engaged with over 500 clients through newsletters and our social media platforms, focusing on improving key deliverables and outcomes.
